Before the clone of Handou, my parents and friends all supported it very much because the dog had been with them for 11 years and the feelings were deep. Handou was adopted by us when he was two years old. He had experienced several owners and had been abandoned several times before, so he was a little timid, always afraid that the owner would abandon him again.
The cloned puppy, whom we named Ganxin, now lives with us and Handou. Although Ganxin is also timid, he is more lively and cheerful. They sleep together every day and play together. Handou loves Ganxin and always hugs him, being affectionate with him.
When I first met Ganxin in Sinogene, I thought he would be afraid, but he wasn't. He was clingy with me, which was amazing. From a small piece of skin tissue to a little life, I think it's meaningful and he will accompany us for so long.
Money can be earned again if it is lost, but some things will never come back if they are lost. I think it is worth it.
